Guardian spins against Clegg

I'm not quite sure what The Guardian think they'll achieve by portraying Clegg as having flip-flopped on coalition. As far as I can tell he has consistently stated that going into coalition with third-place Labour and allowing Brown to remain PM would be ludicrous, which is common sense. He has not said that he wants to go into coalition with the Tories, but that they, as the anticipated bigger party, have a stronger claim to government, and to having their man at the top.

exactly. you've hit the nail on the head. The Guardian's spin on this has been poor.

I also not eht eTelegrpahs attempt to slur the libdems by commenting on their use of props to portray a police officer in a borchure. How is that news? Are they going to go after ITV for dressing up actors as policemen in the bill? And image the uproar if the libdems had used a real police officer!

The media reaction against the libdems is crystalising my resolve to vote for them!
